Fire in Los Angeles

There have been reports of a fire in a hotel in Los Angeles. The fire started at around 11 pm in July 7th. The reason for the fire is believed to be a gas leak in the main kitchen. Firefighters arrived shortly after and were able to put out the fire. No residents or staff members were hurt during the incident.

What caused the gas leak is still unknown but some staff members say there might have been a burst in one of the pipes. No official statements have been made from the hotel manager yet.

WITNESS REPORTS

One of the cleaning staff said these about the incident: It happened late at night, I think around 11 pm. I was cleaning a spillage in the floor , when I smelled a weird smell coming from the back of the kitchen. I think one of our cooks didnt fully close the burner so when the gas pipe ruptured, it exploded and started a fire. I was far enough away to not get hurt but I still got a few burns. I then pressed the fire alarm to call the fire department. I'm just gald no one got hurt.
